A very poor turnout of 32 anglers fished the Fur and feather open on Llandudno North Shore on Saturday night.
The northerly wind was a pain, as was the weed in the water but the weather wasn’t as bad as forecast as the anglers had to battle through the small Whiting to try and find some that made the 27cm size limit.
At the weigh in, bags of Whiting made up the majority of catches, with no Codling and only 1 Dogfish brought to the scales. There were also a few Dabs and Rockling.
The match winner was A. Parsons of Bangor, with a bag of Whiting from B zone for a weight of 4-5-0lbs.
Second place went to Holyheads Gary Woods, also with a bag of Whiting from B zone for a weight of 3-12-8lbs and Nigel Conlon from Port Sunlight, took third spot with his bag of Whiting weighing 3-10-8 caught from C zone.
3 prizes were awarded for each zone, to competitiors who didn’t feature in the main prize list. These went to,
A zone

Bill Linfield 1-13-0
