50 anglers fished CBVSACs Victoria Open at North Shore catching bags of Dogfish, Whiting and Gurnard, with a couple of Rays and a Bull Huss of over 8lb also brought to the scales.
George Smith, who had travelled from Grimsby to fish the match took the top spot with a bag of Dogfish, Whiting and Gurnard for a total weight of 22-09-02lbs fishing in C zone.
His travelling companion Carl Nangle took second place with a bag weight of 17-08-04lbs, also from C zone.
Third prize went to local angler and former world champion Alan Price with 16-03-08lbs caught from B zone.
2 prizes were paid for the top 2 anglers in each zone who didn’t make the top 3 prizes. These were awarded as follows,

2 heaviest fish pools of £30 each were awarded. The heaviest flatfish was a Dab of 00-09-08lbs caught by Richie Hughes and the heaviest roundfish was this Bull Huss of 08-05-14lbs caught by Terry Jones.
Thomas Jones took the junior prize with a Dogfish of 01-11-00lbs.
