17 members fished yesterday, 16 weighing in, Top bag, from Greenfield was 11 flounders and 4 eels for myself ( Terry Jones) for a weight of 5.53 kgs. also winning the `golden card` kitty which had only been going for 2 matches.
Dave Mitchell took 2nd place with 9 eels and 8 flounders from Flint for 4.71 kgs.
Gary Bates had 9 flounders and 5 eels also from Flint for 4.67.
4th was Norman Dorling with 8 flounders and 6 eels from Flint for 3.75, and John Jones 5th with 3.39 also from Flint, 6th was Dave Elmer with 3.20 from Greenfield. Chris Jackson had the heaviest fish, a plaice of 2lb. 3oz.( 0.99 kgs.) from Greenfield
Stephen Higginson took the junior prize with 4 flounders and 2 eels for 1.25, and 2 teams tied on 71 points, Norman and Terry, and Mitch and Gary.
