At last, another species apart from rockling. Gary Jones found a flounder of 1lb. 7oz. with 3 rockling to win last night`s match. 16 anglers fished, with 10 weighing in. Mike Peters also found a dab, but rockling were all that anyone else could manage.
Results were, 1st Gary Jones 1.02 kgs. 2nd Barry Haigh 0.29, 3rd Norman Dorling 0.27. Joint 4th, Chris jackson and Bob Roberts on 0.23, and 6th Mike Peters 0.21, Gary`s flounder of 0.66 won the heaviest fish prize, and Gary and Bob were top team with 70 points.
