All in all a great day, plenty of small codling and whiting,, plenty of dogs, and a plaice to boot.

Well done lads looks like you had a good day out.
We didn't do very well in the mersey Malc, out of 7 cod our biggest was 2.4lb (couldn't get 1 any bigger!) i think a 5.5lbr won it, nice fish fair play.
Think the next match might be a week on sun but i need to check that the other lads can make it, so i'll let u know.

It was a good match fair play, well run, tractor launch and all that and it was only a 5hr match so it went quite quick. Think we'll do it again next year.

Your more than welcome to join us for the next match i'll let you know when it's on for defo after i've spoken to the lads. Looks like you've got a good cod mark sussed out!!

its just struck me, got all excited about fishing,and matches, and suddenly realised its my lads 6 th birthday on the 12 nov, so no fishing for me then. ,apart from the fact the bloody missus would kill me if i buggered off on the boat. and my son wouldn't be to impressed, roll on couple years when he can come.

hold on though, birthday on 12,friday,party on sat, sunday all clear, happy days, lost the plot there for a bit
