A shortage of peeler crabs meant a poor turnout was pretty well inevitable for this one, however 15 of us made it, and 10 weighed in.
Flounders were the only species weighed in, but there were a few codling caught as well, just not big enough unfortunately.
Norman Dorling carried on from his winter league win with first place in this match, 5 flounders for 1.99 kgs. John Jones took 2nd with 3 for 1.85, his best fish took the heaviest fish prize , a cracking specimen of 1.17 kgs. ( 2-09-04 lbs. )
A good fish whichever way you look at it.
3rd place went to Mark Hill with 3 for 1.50, 4th was Gary Bates with 3 for 1.33 5th Paul Jones with 4 for 1.05, and 6th, and ladies` prize winner, Janet Dorling with 2 for 1.03.
Top team were Norman and Terry with 64 points and no juniors fished.
