Just 13 members for this one, on a decent enough afternoon with a bit of wind, but the venue was pretty well sheltered from that. Everyone weighed in eventually, but the fishing was quite poor, with just a few decent flounders amongst the smaller ones and the little eels.
Dave Mitchell decided on the longest walk to the downstream limit, and came back with the winning bag, two good flounders and 10 little eels for a weight of 2.70 kgs. One of his flounders was a specimen of 0.90 ( 1-15-12 lbs.) which took the heaviest fish prize.
2nd place went to John Davies, with 2 flounders and 3 eels for 1.81, Dave Lunt was 3rd with 3 flounders for 1.11, and Mark Hill 4th with 2 and an eel for 1.05, Gary Bates and John Major tied for 5th place with 1.04 each.
Top Team were Mitch and Gary with 69 points.
The K.O.cup final at the next match will be between the top two in the league, Gary Bates and Mike Peters.
