Summer league match 3 Flint Cob

Just 14 members fished yesterday afternoon, in blisteringly hot weather, with peeler crab gently roasting in their buckets.
All 14 weighed in, with just two species , flounders and eels, coming to the scales.
Mitch came out on top, after blanking the first 2 matches, with his bag of 8 flounders and 5 eels weighing 3.69 kgs, his team mate Gary Bates wasn`t far behind in 2nd, with 2.98 kgs, and Dave Lunt 3rd with 2.83, was hard on his heels. The last of the cash went to yours truly, in 4th with 1.86, and Dave Roberts took 5th place and the heaviest fish prize, with 1.74, including a 2-00-08 flounder
.
His son Jordan took 6th with 1.58, top team were Mitch and Gary with 71 points, and no juniors or ladies fished, the `golden card` was not won again, and now rolls over to £196 for the next match.
The K.O. cup semi finals at the next match are;
Jordan Roberts v Terry Jones
and
Norman Dorling v Dave Mitchell.
