Summer league match 10 - Tan Lan

Only 11 anglers turned up for this one, 10 members and an old familiar face in the shape of Glyn Williamson , fishing as a guest, welcome back Glyn
The fishing went to plan, on a lovely calm night, with clear skies and a slight swell, the small whiting were there as usual, with one or two in size and the odd doggie on the last of the ebb. After low water the dogs came out to play, although some were a bit shy about taking the bait far enough to hook themselves, quite a few let go halfway in.
By weighing in time we all had fish, with just the best 2 dogs being weighed in and the rest released and counted as 1 kilo.
Billy ( the trawler) McLintock topped the list again, with 19 dogs and 5 whiting for 20.16 kgs., Norman Dorling was 2nd with 17 and 3 whiting for 17.64, Glyn Williamson 3rd with 12 and 11 for 13.73, Darren Jones 4th with 12 and 9 for 13.73,
I was 5th with 11 and 6 for 11.86, and 6th was Dave Lunt with 10 and 1 for 10.03.
Billy had the heaviest fish, a dog of 1.20 kgs. ( 2-10-04) and top team were Norman and myself with 70 points. No juniors or ladies took part.
