5 boats fished leg 2 of the boat league.
At long last we had a taste of summer today both with the weather and the fishing.
We were blessed with a decent forecast for a change so off we headed to Treaddur bay.
The mackerel were in, and the bait fish were breaking the surface every now and again so summer is here!
The 5 boats had mixed fortunes with the fishing, some struggled and others found some fish, there were some nice huss around, bass hunter had a nice thorny , there were plenty of Pollack and cod, some nice wrasse, macky, launce, too many dogs, poor cod, pout and a few mini species.
The top boat on the day were o2b@c with 11 species and 2 specimens, 16.12.04lb, 59 points.
Goldilocks were 2nd with 7 species and 2 specimens, 14 15.04lb, 46 points.
Lady m were 3rd with 6 species and 2 specimens, 12.13.08lb, 41 points
