Match 7 Menai Straits 22-7-12

4 boats fished leg 7 of the summer league. Another bad forecast meant we’d have to fish the straits once again. It was hard going in the conditions we had, very strong W-SW winds were blowing down the straits but at least it was dry for us!

It was a close competition with only a few points separating the top 3 boats.
02b@c took the honours with 10 species for 13.04.00lb (50 points)
Lady m were 2nd with 10 species for 09.04.08lb (48 points)
Goldilocks were 3rd with 9 species for 10.04.04lb (46 points)
Hannah Lou were 4th with 6 species for 02.07.00lb (35 points)

O2b@c had the heaviest round fish pool with a Huss of 07.14.00lb

Lady m had the heaviest flat fish with a flounder of 01.06.00lb

Bit windy but not a bad day,nice to be out again,big thanks to Malc for inviting me,loads of fish but only one undersized ballen falling to malc, I really enjoyed the day,well done O2B@C and good luck in Irland,see you all soon tight lines.
