Just 3 boats turned up for leg 8 of the summer league.
A bit of a dodgey forecast meant that we fished the straits again, conditions were good all day, the wind got up as forecast but we were out of it and had good shelter.
The fishing wasn’t too bad on the day, the ebb seemed to fish better than flood though and the small tide might of played its part.
15 different species were caught between the boats and only weight separated the top 2 boats at the weigh in.
Lady m took the honours with 13 species and 1 specimen for 08.02.04lb and 62 points.
O2b@c were 2nd with 13 species and 1 specimen, 07.10.04lb and 61 points.
Goldilocks were 3rd with 4 species, 03.03.00lb and 30 points
Lady m had the heaviest round fish with a ballan of 02.09.04lb and they also had the heaviest flatfish pool with a small flounder.
