Tom had been asking if i would take a couple of his mates fishing with us for a while so we all headed off to Corkwing corner on the breaky yesterday for some guaranteed fish.
We drove through some heavy rain on the way, but there was only a touch of light drizzle when we got there and all the kids were fishing within minutes of our arrival.
The fish were there from the start, with Tompots, small Ballans, loads of Corkwings and a couple of Rock Gobies putting in an appearance.
Jacob had his first ever fish, a Tompot,
closely followed by a Corkwing.
Young Tom had several small Ballans as well as lots of Corkwings.
Big Tom caught plenty, including some good sized Corkwings.
They had 29 fish between them in just a couple of hours fishing 1 hook each.
They would have had more if they had spent as much time fishing as they did eating!
Happy Days!
