2010 Species hunt submissions.

If anyone is interested i am willing to run a fun species hunt for 2010.

There will be no prize just the challenge of setting yourself a target number of species to catch for the year and trying to achieve it by 31st December 2010. That way there wont have to be any rules. Fish caught off shore and boat count, anywhere you fish UK or abroad.

Ill keep a table updated on a thread and people can reply to the thread to add species to their list. Ill update the table and delete the replies every couple of weeks.

Hopefully a few people will want their names adding to make it interesting. If you do, reply to this thread and ill start putting the table together.

Good idea Kev, will it be similar to the F4U species hunt were you take a pic of the fish with a card in the background as proof?

It can be done with photos and we could use fish labels from league matches.

If there are enough people interested ill see about knocking up some cards to give out. Ill wait and see what sort of response i get first though.

Ive got 3 names so far and a list of 45 fish that are caught locally. If anyone catches anything not on the list it will be added. Theres no limit on the number of participants so get your names down if youre interested.

Photos would be good. I will put a section in the gallery for species to be added and a link to the table, then those that arent taking part can see how we are all doing.

I dont think its necessary to have the membership card in as there isnt a prize for this ( yet ) and we can open it to non members as well.

Any input will be gratefully recieved so fire away if you have any more ideas.
