I would imagine that there's plenty of dogs and pin whiting in the dark. I hate the place!!!

Ive not seen any reports from there since you last posted so i cant say for certain but other beaches locally are producing plenty of Dogs with small Whiting and a few flatties.

Let you know, I am going to give it a try tomorrow evening. Not expecting too much though, dogs and whiting (small) i suppose.

Well fished Llandudno this evening for 3 hours. It went as i thought it would.
First cast with a bit of mackerel on each hook gave me a double catch, a mackerel and a good size doggy.



Then the rest of the night was full of smaller dogs and small whiting



And more doubles



Had around 8 dogs and 10 whiting but did not keep count. Nice to catch for a change though.

Its nice to know there are a few fish around ahead of our open on Saturday

I`ll answer on Kev`s behalf, mackerel,scad, and launce don`t count, and there is a 18 cm. minimum size for mini species. All other fish to host club and W.F.S.A. size limits.
