Splash Point, 28/12/2008.

14 of us fished Splash Point over high last night in a nasty little easterly and flat calm conditions. It was a mini meet for Fairziffs forum which can be found at www.sunnyrhyl.com

Sub zero temperatures, and still being hung over from Dans wedding the previous evening are more excuses for only managing one pin Whiting, although there were very few fish for anyone.

The best catch was around half a dozen slugs and small Whiting between James Wrights 2 rods.

I also managed to lose a rig, but i went back to pick it up at low this afternoon, to find a big Dab on one of the hooks. Fortunately it wasnt over 12 ounces, but would have lifted the spirits a bit on a hard night.

I think ill put the rods away until the weather warms up.
