With what little left over bait i had from Saturday nights slug fest, i had a couple of hours at Splash Point yesterday afternoon.
It was heaving with 5 anglers all around the Point.
Tony was in his usual spot and steadily catching Codling, Whiting and some nice Dabs on his fresh lug.
Mick and Phil fished either side of the groyne but couldnt manage a fish, even though Tony had supplied their bait and rigs.
I fished at the bottom of the steps and Lug tipped with Squid accounted for a small Codling at high water,
and of course, a slug on the last cast which was a couple of hours after high.
Mike hadnt found a fish by the time i left to do the school run either.
Not a bad little sesh. Thats 3 trips this weekend and 5 species. No specimens yet, but with bait left watch this space!!!
