Report by Darren Jones.
Last Saturday saw the latest leg of the summer league at Holyhead Breakwater.
Everyone had high expectations and there were plenty of fish caught and lots of different species.
1st overall was myself Darren jones, I managed 3.87 and 6 species for a total of 440, not bad with 1 leg.
It was really close for 2nd 3rd and 4th but 2nd on the day went to Colin Dunn who had 2.92 and 3 species for 322cm.
3rd was Dan Davies who had 2.69 and 5 species for 319
4th was Mark Smith who had 2.87 and 3 species for 317,
last of the main prizes and in 5th place was David Andrew Lunt who had 2.61 and 3 species for 291.
Longest fish went to myself Darren Jones, I had a 6lb 8oz thornback Ray which measured 55cm but was very close as Terry Jones wasn't far behind with a 52cm Pollock.
1st junior on the day was Sam Collins who had 1.73 and 4 species for 213, well done Sam.
2nd was Morgan Owen who had 1.37 and 2 species for 159,
3rd was Alphie House-Goodwin who had 1.19 and 2 species for 139.
Top lady on the day went to Tanya Denny who had 2.4 and 3 species for 270, great match fished by Tanya.
Well done to all the winners.
Would also like to thank Dave Cave who managed to get us the key for the gate, we were all very thankful to you Dave, much appreciated.
