| This could be the shortest match report ever, 11 members turned up at Amlwch to be met by atrocious conditions, a force 7 to 8 Easterly was forecast for the afternoon, so we decided a trip to the West side of the island was a good idea. We should have gone straight home. After 5 hours fishing, although a few undersize pollack and the odd little ballan were caught, just one in-size fish was weighed in, a corkwing of 0.11 kgs. for Barry Haigh, This took 1st place and heaviest fish prizes and the rest were drawn for. This meant Darren Jones held on to the top place to win the league, with Norman second and Barry third. | |
