Just 9 members turned up for this one, in torrential rain that had us all soaked before we`d even booked in!
As Flint cob was inaccessible we moved to Greenfield, and by the time we got set up the rain was easing off and within an hour the sun was out and it was almost like Spring.
The excess fresh water in the river made it harder work than usual but we all weighed in mixed bags of flounders, eels, and a couple of plaice and dabs.
Mike Peters thrashed us all with 8 flounders and 2 eels for a weight of 3.47 kgs.
I managed 4 eels, 2 flounders and a dab for 2.29 in 2nd. and John Jones was 3rd with 3 flounders and an eel for 1.72. Dave Lunt took 4th with a flounder and a pool winning plaice for 1.17, the plaice was 0.76 kgs ( 1-10-08 lbs.)
Mitch was just behind on 1.16, and Norman 6th on 0.68. Top team were Mike and Dave with 71 points. The golden card rolls over to £180 for the next match.
