Summer league match 10 Penmaenmawr

10 members turned out at Penmaenmawr last night for the usual doggy bash, but we were surprised to see a few thornbacks show up as well. Unfortunately only one was over the 5 pound minimum size, but they were in the three to four and a half pound range.
Bill Mclintock came back from his summer coarse fishing, and topped the weights again with 12 dogs for 11.98 kgs. Not far behind were Mike Peters and Dave Lunt with 11 each for 11.06 kgs. and 11.03 kgs. respectively. I took 4th place with 6 dogs and a thornback for 9.40. The ray took the heaviest fish prize as well, at 3.66 kgs.  ( 8-02-00 lbs.),



5th place went to Gary Bates with 9 dogs for 9.03, and 6th was Dave Mitchell, also with 9 for 8.68. Top team were Mike and Dave with 69 points.
