Summer league match 8 Penrhyn Bay

14 members fished on Saturday evening, with only 9 weighing in.
The tide was obviously too big for a match here, as we spent most of the 4 hours with just inches of water in front of us. A few dogs came on to feed towards the end, but nowhere near as many as we`ve had in previous matches here. Dave Mitchell had the best bag, 6 dogs for 5.72 Kgs. to win. 2nd place went to Dave Jones with a couple of huss around the 3 pound mark, and a dog for 3.34. The next 3 had 3 dogs each, Mike Peters with 2.60, myself with 2.49, and Mark Hill with 2.36. Gary Bates took 6th with 2 for1.94, and the heaviest fish was a bass of 1.71 ( 3-12-04 lbs.) for Paul Jones. Mitch and Gary were top team with 67 points.
