15 anglers fished this one last night, with the sea dropping off after a good blow, it looked promising for a bass or two, however the only one caught was undersize at 42 cms.
The whiting hordes were there, swallowing whole sandeel as big as themselves as usual, with an in-size one coming along very rarely.
The doggies were feeding in patches, with everyone getting a few, but some more than others.
Bill McLintock came back from his summer off, to take the top bag of 13 dogs and a whiting for 13.22 kgs. Dave Roberts took 2nd place with 10 dogs and a whiting for 10.24 , just missing out on the `golden card ` kitty of £275.
Dave`s son Jordan was 3rd with 8 dogs for 7.99, and Kev Jones took the last of the cash with 8 for 7.40,
Darren Jones was 5th with 7.29, and Norman Dorling 6th with 7.01.
Tom Jones took the junior prize, with 2 dogs for 1.51, Dave Lunt had the heaviest fish, with one of 1.19 kgs. (2-09-12 lbs.) and top team with 70 points were Dave and Jordan Roberts.
