15 of us made the trip to the top end of the island, travelling through a deluge of biblical proportions it was looking grim to say the least
However, good old Anglesey was bone dry and basking in lovely hot sunshine
The majority stayed on the breakwater, but a few ventured into Trearddur bay, including myself and Norman, and we finished first and second.
With a 3 of each species bag limit I came out on top with 6 species, including ballan, corkwing and cuckoo wrasse, pollack, dogs, and a tompot totalling 4.69 kgs.
Norman took 2nd place with ballans, corkwings, and shannies for 3.80, his best wrasse of 1.44 kgs ( 3-02-08 )
was beaten for the heaviest fish prize by Chris Jackson`s conger of 2.14 ( 4-11-08 )
This gave Chris 3rd place, with 3.04.
John Jones was 4th with 2.56, Colin Dunn 5th with 2.10, and 6th was a tie between Mike Peters and Paul Jones, both with 0.90.
Top team were Norman and myself with 78 points and Jordan Davies took the junior prize.
