west shore 09/04/08

Fished the channel at w.shore just before the pipe this afternoon.

I had a few fish, nothing decent though.I missed my 1st bite a good slack liner then next cast similar bite and this comes in, a nice little bass, 1st of the year

I then had these 2 flounders on my next few casts and that was it the channel emptied and the bites dried up


My mad dog then decided she fancied a bite out of 1 of them

Nice little session there Dan, looked a nice afternoon and a few fish to boot, cant be bad, love the springers mad aren't they.

it was lovely down there yesterday, summers on the way .That dog of mine is nuts she loves anything fishy, dead crabs,crab shells,starfish anything goes i was down tan lan last year fishing with her and some other bloke was fishing further down she went over to see him and robbed 2 whole squid out of his bait tray he wasnt impressed! (ive got her well trained incase i ever run out of bait! )

Had a springer myself when i lived in Old Colwyn, down the beach with him after work every day, he was a bait thief come to think of it, i remember walking down the top road to Tan Lan head with him and there was a match on, Paul Evans was fishing off the road near the tunnel , got talking to him and Bracken was mooching around, walked down to the end and came back to see Paul, he wasn't to pleased Bracken had robbed all the bait off the top of his box
