| An all time low of just 6 of us fished at North Shore last night, the wind had dropped to an offshore breeze, the surf was just enough to get the fish feeding, and it didn`t rain all night, so where were you ? The whiting were coming in in twos and threes all night, although the in-size ones were few and far between, apart from them there was one codling, one dog, and two dabs weighed in. I managed to come out on top with 12 whiting and a 46cm. codling, this is probably my best treble header this year, Dave Lunt was 2nd with 9 whiting and a dab, Dave Jones 3rd with 6 and a dog, Norman was 4th with 9 whiting, John Jones 5th with 8 and a dab, and Bill McLintock 6th with 6 whiting. The heaviest round prize went to my codling at 0.83, and heaviest flat to Dave Lunt`s dab of 0.14. We had two each of the £350 of prizes and raffled the rest. | |
