Well every one was waiting at 630am for a trip down to the Mersey was not sure with the weather perdition on Met check .
Arrived at the slip with all my paper work and the £50 fee but no one around “O” dear never mind the gates were open
Got on the water and anchored at the tunnel vents by 730 and Johnny had the first fish with in an Hour a nice 4 pound codling
Then we had a few whiting nothing of any size we were then passed by the mother of all ships which tripped the anchor so a drifting down the main channel was not a good place to be,
Moved a little further down just past the vents and was joined by Goldilocks to be fair he lifted is anchor and swung in to the rear of us we stayed for another hour and not a lot was happening so moved just of the outfall opposite the windmill
We had a few knocks but non landed the Jamie managed a nice 3 pound fish trying to stretch it .
There was no action on the boat at all and there was one hell of a wind chill so decided it was time to call it a day at 12.15 all in all not a bad day but by the gods was it cold with the wind
