| fished the north west anglers open at north shore last night 7till12,it was a 5hour match because some lads had come 100mile so to make it worth the travel they made it 5hour.Anyway about the fishing,as all the lads on this forum an in the club can already guess the fishing wernt up to much.There were plenty of pin whiting about but as it was a length2weight match targeting whiting is not really an option,for an example 1x 18cm whiting is worth 5points where as 1x 55cm dog is worth 60points,iv kept a card if the club is interested in fishing future matches this way.Back to the fishing, the match was won by jamie pikup who from somewere found 4dogs an 6whiting think second was half that.As for me an chris we could not find a dog an the 7whiting i caught were accidently taken on dog baits,chris was the same no dogs for him either but he did win £37 for biggest flat a 23cm dab, the only flat caught on the night.Its not gone unoticed chris its the second match in a row you have picked up money are we shares
