Report by Darren Jones
Last night saw the latest leg of the summer league fished at Llandudno North shore. A strong field of 33 anglers turned out and a few fish were expected. Yet again it fished hard as nails for some reason.
1st on the night was Mark Smith who managed 5 dogs for 2.5m, well done m8.
2nd on the night was Fôn Owen who found 4 dogs and a whiting for 2.21m, tied on the night with Tom James who had the same 4 dogs and a whiting also for 2.21m.
3rd spot went to Danny Parker who had 2 whiting 2 dogs and a tub Gurnard for 1.79m,
last of the main prizes went to Mark Davies in 4th with 2 dogs and a Huss for 1.76m.
Longest fish of the match went to Will Mclintock who had a huge Huss of 1.09m, nice fish Bill.
2 section prizes, section 1 went to peg 15 Colin Dunn and section 2 went to Will Mclintock.
Top junior on the night went to club newcomer Isobelle Nicholls, a massive well done to Isabelle who managed to brush aside 2nd place Alphie House Goodwin.
Top lady on the night had to be drawn out as Nia and Tanya failed to register a fish on there cards but on the draw Nia took it.
Again a massive thanks to Ian Williams and the lads that sorted the pegs out in my absence, but I will be back for the next match.
