Today was the first match of the year at Pensarn. With high hopes of a few fish showing, with good reports coming from there all week. It was the complete opposite, the fishing was absolutely dire at best with only 5 anglers with fish on there cards. 21 hardy anglers braved the breezy conditions, but at least the rain held off.
1st in the match was Marc Viercant who managed to find a bass and a flounder for 67cm.
2nd was Fôn Owen who had a bass and a dab for a length of 56cm.
3rd was Nigel Conlon who had a bass of 46cm. Last of the placings went to Will Mclintock who also had a bass of 44cm.
Top junior was Alphie House-Goodwin who managed to find a bass of 40cm, well done young man.
2nd junior was Tyson Badcott.
2 section winners unfortunately had to be drawn out of the bag as no other fish were caught. Section 1 went to Danny Parker and the 2nd section went to Mark Patterson.
