When are we going to have another go at the casting?

If there is enough response to this and people want to voice an opinion on venue / time, I will sort the tape measure . and markers out. So come on you lot stop estimating your distance, and find out the facts.

Either day, not bothered.

Should be ok for next weekend, which day are you going for and venue and times.

It would be good to have a chuck, not cast for a year and my reels are probably as rusty as me!

After speaking to Mitch, we have decided on 4pm, Sunday 3rd August at Talacre.

There are 3 names down at the moment, and we know Sam cant make it, so come on the rest of you. Reply to this or ring me if you are coming.

Im going to Cornwall on the weekend so I wont be around for a week .Dont think i'll be able to cast far with a boat rod anyway

Well, the turnout was much improved on last time, and i think a fun day was had by all.

Mitch got the prize for the longest cast
I was closest the centre line, and second longest
Terry was third longest.

Many thanks to all who turned up, and to the club for putting up the fantastic prizes.

I cant wait to use my new 7ht mag

Apology i was not there, in my defence i was checking the site for confirmation the event was on, could not get the page up on Sat, and no change to the posts on Sunday so went fishing, thinking the day had fallen through.
