13 members fished this one, the forecast was a bit iffy, but the rain held off till we were on the way home, and the wind was offshore, so it wasn`t too uncomfortable.
There were plenty of fish around, but the majority were undersize whiting and dabs, the in-size ones were there though, with a couple of bags of 8 or 9 fish.
John Jones came out on top with the aid of this,
the only codling of the match and the heaviest fish of 0.87 kgs. which along with 4 dabs and 2 whiting gave him a bag of 1.85 kgs.
Mike Peters was 2nd with 7 dabs and 2 whiting for 1.59, Gary bates 3rd with 5 dabs and 2 whiting for 1.35, and Jordan Roberts 4th with 6 dabs and 1 whiting for 1.24.
League leader Dave Roberts had a mare, being one of the two who failed to weigh in, that dropped him 6 places in the league, with John Jones taking over at the top with one match left.
Top team on the day were Dave Radcliffe and Dave Jones with 65 points, and the golden card rolls over to £ 305
