Boat match 1. 1/5/11. Dire Straits.

5 boats fished the first match of 2011 which was held in the Straits due to the strong easterly wind which had been blowing all weekend.

We fished mainly on the ebb, and all boats really struggled to find species big enough to bring to the scales.

Hannah Lou took top honours with a Dog and a specimen Ballan ( the only wrasse to be weighed! )

Bass Hunter were second with a Dog, a Pout and a Sea Scorpion.

Lady M took third with a Dog and a Pout.

The new boat Jo Am took fourth with a decent sized Dog and we were fifth with a little Dog.

There were loads of Dogs and small Codling around, but very little in the way of anything else. Even the minis were still on there summer holidays.

we we there on saturday, and thats all we had too, dogs and codling,but si and me and goldilocks will be there on the 22nd
