pully rigs loaded with lug, squid and crab
first im was mi dad with a coddo of around 1.5 lb and the we had a couple of whiting between us and then it was my turn, tap tap and it was coddo on weighing in at 1.3lb
at around 11pm we decided to head home
after working saturday morning i got home a quick chat about were to fish and what to fish for, in the end we decided on fishing the island for coalies
got on the island at low water and got to our chosen mark set up and started fishing
first cast and mi dad was into the target species a coalie
then after that it was a fish a chuck all a decent size fish
some of the keepers we had
the 3 for tea
my dads biggest of the night weighing in at 1lb 4oz
the my biggest of the night weighing in at 1lb 11oz
then after we had both had over 20fish each we called it a night and headed home for some sleep :bored: :bored: :bored:
with us having some bait left over from our trip to the island we decided a quick trip to the rocks was needed so we got up early and headed to the rocks for high water
got to the rocks and there were already 2 people fishing so parked up and got the gear and walked to the spot with the flat rocks
set up and the fishing was a bit slow witht my dad picking up a couple of small whiting weighing 8oz
then just as it was getting dark the coddos came on the feed i got 2 at 2lb 2oz and mi dad got 2 at 1lb 7oz
with us having to go out for a meal we had to go early
just as the fishing qas getting good
