first day out aboard cameron jack
again friday came round, boat still prepped up after no go after no go,,,
weather forecast not looking good
sat 0800 after a phone call from jon, and news that the weather is perfect, its all systems go
off we set to perch rock,,, whilst getting the boat ready to launch we bumped into brian from safewater training (top man) a couple more powerboat courses were arranged!
the launch was flawless, and the boat just slid in with a gentle shove
the powerfull suzuki 90 four stroke had us on the first mark across from the eggy ferry terminall in minutes
nothing doing there, so up came the anchor and off we set for the next mark,,
passing the clocktower and jaygo got a couple of pics!
we anchored up near the wind farm, by now the sky was blue and cloudless
on the first launch, the priority wasn't fishing but to get used to to the chartplotter, sonar etc etc, and the new boat (me and jon have worked together as a team for a number of years now)
but after a short while fishing,,,,a little bonus came along
