Penrhyn Bay 12.09.08

Went to Penrhyn this afternoon for an hour with my plugging rod to see if there were any billy's knocking around.I didn't fancy my chances after seeing the dirty water close in that went out for 10m or so but i gave a go and ended up with this 4lb 10oz fish.

Had a cracking fight off it for a couple of mins, you can't beat fighting a bass on light rod. Happy days

you jammy git i cant get one on the plug for love nor money mate im convinced they dont work..was it on the popper

It was on a shallow diver yo zuri minnow.There should be plenty around soon, back end of the month and oct is prime time so get your a*** down there with me.I promised you that you'd get 1 this year aswell.
