Well today saw the 2nd leg of the summer league down at connahs quay in the Dee estuary. It was very hard going for alot of the anglers, putting it down to the deluge of rain they have had down that way this week, alot of fresh water in the river. With a bitterly cold west northwest wind, 21 hardy anglers turned up to fish. 1st place was fon owen who managed 3 flounders and 3 eels for 193cm, well done fon.
2nd place went to young Tom James who managed 5 flounders for a total of 159cm.
3rd place Paul Jones who had 2 flounders and an eel for 104cm. Last of the money winners was 4th Wayne grant who also had 2 flounders and an eel for 97cm. Top lady on the day was yet again nia William's, and top junior was Tyson badcott. Well done to all the winners on a tough cold day at the office.1st Paul Jones 68pts 167cm
