15 members and one guest fished at Conwy Morfa on Sunday, the forecast was wet and windy, but the wind was too strong for the rain to get through , until the last hour or so when it calmed down a bit and started raining.
The fishing was a bit grim, with plenty of micro-codling, a few undersize flounders and a handful of rockling in the first couple of hours. By the time we`d enjoyed ourselves enough and it was time to weigh in, 12 had found in-size fish. Mike Peters consolidated his lead in the league with another win, 3 in-size flounders for 0.70 kgs.
Mark Hill was 2nd with a whiting and a rockling for 0.39, Dave Jones was 3rd with 2 rockling for 0.28, and the last of the cash went to Alan Tinman with 2 rockling for 0.26 . Norman Dorling was 5th with 0.24, and Jordan Roberts 6th with 0.21.
One of Mike`s flounders took the heaviest fish prize at 0.29 kgs. , and 2 teams had 64 points, Mike Peters and Dave Lunt, and Paul and Dave Jones.
The golden card was not won again and rolls over to the next match at £148.
