| 5 KG Bruce would be my recommendation with 8mm chain the length of the boat, rig the anchor for tripping with 60-80 lb line or a cable tie, tbh i think the line is better cable tie's are a bit unreliable sometime's. | |

| so you connect the chain to the bottom of the anchor, and tie it ta the top with line or ties? | |

| Connect to the nose of the anchor using a shackle then run the chain up the shaft and then tie the chain via the hole were you would normally connect the chain using the line or a cable tie then in theory if the anchor gets stuck in foul ground you should be able to put enough pressure to break the line and then retrieve your anchor, simples. You can use the boat under power to exert pressure but great care must be taken doing this, you must be aware of your rope position at all times and worse case scenario would be the anchor rope around the prop in a strong tide. take care out there.
