Weather looked well so took the dogs for a walk and with the sea as flat as a billiard table it had to be worth a go
Set of from Prestatyn just after 10.30 headed out towards the wind farm, with one of our club boats out already (the 2 Steve’s) on the rough ground, and with not a lot happening we steamed straight out
As we got further out the fog started to drop when we arrived at the NH1 windmill the visibility was down to 50 meters max
Fished just of the windmill for an hour with not a single knock,so Tracey stuck the frying pan on and had sausage and bacon butty's
The fog had lifted a little and with an early report of a couple of fish on the calcium (Steve supreme) decided to up anchor and pop over and give it a go.
Baited up a bit of frozen worm and squid and managed a small whiting for my lad at least it was not a blank
Then the rod tip dropped and another whiting and it was mine that stopped him singing blank D blank
But that was it the fog dropped again and visibility was down to 3 to 4 meters so we all decided it was time to up the anchor and get back to shore, switched all the electric on (worth there weight in gold) and hit the home waypoint would of sworn it was the other way
