The meeting to decide dates and venues for this year`s summer league will take place at the clubhouse on the evening of the winter league match at Colwyn Bay on February 27th. The match starts at 20-00, so we will start the meeting around 18-15, and start the booking in for the match at the clubhouse, concluding the booking in at the arches at around 19-15.
We will also discuss any proposed rule changes or suggestions for the league at this meeting. One such suggestion has already arisen, a `golden card ` draw at each match. Entries at each match could be a pound a man, the draw will be made before the match, and if the card number drawn goes on to win the match that angler takes the prize pool. This may roll over for a number of matches, so the eventual winner could go home with a tidy sum of money, depending on the number of entries. Further discussions need to take place to set out a few ground rules and to check out the level of interest.
