Boat Section Meeting

Subject: Boat Section Meeting 15th February 2009, 10:40 pm

A meeting of the boat section will be held at the clubhouse Rhos on Sea on Friday 13th March 2009 to discuss this year's boat matches,(confirmation of this date nearer the time) there will be a few points up for discussion - with Gwyn Andrews unable to take on the section leaders job this year because of his charter commitments we will be looking for a replacement, so if you think your up to the job don't hesitate to put yourself forward, we will also be looking at suitable date's and tides for our matches and whether we should stick to the format we have been using for the last ten year's or so, a format which served us well at one time but to be honest with only three or four boat's competing at the halfway point last year it seems bloody obvious it's time for a change. I wont go banging my catch measure and release drum this year i will leave it to the members that turn up at the meeting, but any idea's would be welcome on this forum

If you are going to attend any of the boat matches this year and want some input into the way we run the matches or any changes you would like to discuss this is your chance so try to make the meeting, it's Friday at 20-00hrs at the clubhouse, Brains bitter mmmmmmm drunken
