| As the Trevor Davies match was cancelled due to lack of interest, Norman and myself went to check out the venue, and have a mini bashing session. It`s not a big place , but you can drive right on to it, and fish either side or off the end, We had 11 species between us, with Norman beating me 10 - 8. One unusual one was this butterfish for Norman, he said he hadn`t caught one for about 30 years, then he got another straight after, but by the time I`d changed to smaller hooks they`d all gone. [The species list was, Doggies, ballans, corkwings, goldsinneys, tompots, rock gobies, shannies, sea scorpions, poor cod, whiting , and butterfish.
