16 members fished last night, in appalling conditions, heavy rain and wind, still we don`t mind that do we  Very Happy
As it turned out the weather improved for the second half of the match, and everyone weighed in, some with considerably more success than others!
Barry Haigh had the lion`s share, with 17 whiting, 2 dabs, and 2 rockling for a weight of 4.68 kgs.
Paul Jones was 2nd with 18 whiting for 4.52 kgs. and John Jones 3rd with 13 for 4.07 . The rest of us were well behind, with myself in 4th place with 8 whiting for 1.78. Terry Havill 5th with 7 and a dab for 1.63, and John Major 6th with 6 for 1.36.
The heaviest round fish prize went to John Floyd with the only dog of the match at 0.59 kgs. and the heaviest flatfish prize to Barry Haigh with a dab of 0.38.
The evening was finished off with a hotpot in the clubhouse and a drink or two, plus a prize for everyone and the remainder in a well supported raffle. many thanks to all who made the effort to attend, and thanks also for the whip round for me, very much appreciated.
Here is the prize table before it was stripped bare.
