The xmas fur and feather was fished out of Treaddur Bay this year, the original plan was to fish the Mersey and make it a heaviest cod comp but after hearing it wasn’t fishing very well we all thought the Straits would be better option, 5 boats turned up at the meeting point on a cracking winters morning and someone suggested that we should go up to Treaddur bay instead, so we all headed up to Holyhead.
The fishing wasn’t too bad and most boats found some decent fish, we made it a heaviest fish comp on an individual basis as everyone wins a prize on the fur and feather.
1st place went to Mark Singleton with a fine winter Tope of approx 50lbs!
