TAN LAN hows it fishing

hows Tan Lan fishing, got a club match in 2 weeks, any info would be great thanks

We have a club match there over low this Saturday so keep an eye on here for the results.

There will be loads of big Doggies and small Whiting at this time of year. Chance of a Bass or Codling if its rough and the chance of a Conger down near the headland.

You will be fishing over high, but that shouldnt make too much difference, although we have fished over low over the last few years, mainly because of the new rock sea defences they have put in from the end of the prom towards the headland. Theyre a bugger to fish over or off, all slimey and slippy!

Where are your limits?

I think you will struggle to fish over the rocks from the end of the prom down towards the headland but you will have to decide on the night. Casting will be limited due to the fences on the cycle track.

The top weights from our match came from in front of the hump, where you come onto the prom off the 55 so you could fish from the Arches to the Pier or further but you will have to dodge the squid chuckers on the prom!
