Just got in after a days boat fishing off Rhyl with Steve and Supreme.
Early start was worth it sailed at 5am with the weather due to worsen during the day.
We went out to a broken up wreck, with some nice Pollock to 3-4lbs, small Ling, a solitary Cod,weavers, and Mackerel high up in the water. Managed a couple of good Wrasse the best going 4lbs 2oz fought really well on light gear.
Later mover to wind farm, with dogs, Gurnards, Poor Cod adding to the dabs and Whiting and Mackerel.
Sadly no Huss or Tope made an appearance but this was way laid by the bacon butties and pasties provided.
Finally move close in after Bass or Smoothies-with just dabs picking up the rag and crab baits.
Overall a geat day getting in as the weather closed in and wind picking up.
Tight Lines
Nigel.
