5 juniors fished the second leg of the Winter league at the Foryd yesterday, although it was short sleeves weather as spring has definitely sprung!
A massive thanks to our junior league sponsor Joker for all the fantastic crab he provided free of charge for the kids to use and the tackle he donated for prizes!
3 lads found fish although Jack and Dan Peters only managed the last hour due to some confusion with the times of the match and sadly both blanked.
Tom Jones won with 3 Flounders for 116cms including a specimen of 01-15-08lbs at 50cms.
Tom Davies was second with 2 for 80cms.
Stephen Higginson was third with 2 for 56cms.
All juniors received a goody bag of terminal tackle donated by Joker.
The final league table is,
1st. Stephen Higginson, 28 points, 100cms.
2nd. Tom Jones, 20 points, 116cms.
3rd. Tom Davies, 19 points, 80cms.
4th. Jack Peters, 10 points and Dan Peters 10 points.
Stephen was presented with a rig wallet for winning the league.
