Photographing your catch. Empty
PostSubject: Photographing your catch.   Photographing your catch. Empty2nd January 2010, 2:47 pm

Im already thinking of suggesting something a little different for a couple of matches in the Summer league which will make up the Trevor Davies cup matches.

As most of you will know, the attendances have been poor for a while now and we all need to try and think of ways of getting the numbers back up.

What im thinking is to fish a couple of matches on a species hunt format. You will get 100 points per species and a point per cm for your biggest of each species.

The idea is that you take a photo of each fish you wish to submit on a measure, and these can be used to determine the result instead of having a weigh in. They can also be uploaded onto here as part of a report so we get more club members using the site.

I would like to know everyones thoughts on this idea, and also want to know how many people are willing to take a phone/camera fishing to take photos of their catch before releasing. This will indicate if this is a viable format for a match?

If anyone has any other ideas feel free to add them so they can be discussed in advance of the Summer league meeting.
