Last week`s 5th match of the summer league saw 16 members and a guest fishing at various rock marks around the area, and off the breakwater itself.
16 weighed in with varying levels of success, John Jones took the honours, staying on the breakwater and moving around a bit found him his 3 fish limit of ballans and dogs, with a pollack and a poor cod as well, for a weight of 5.45 kgs. his best wrasse of 1.54 kgs. ( 3-06-00 lbs. ) took the heaviest fish prize .
Alun Blythin took 2nd with 3 wrasse 2 dogs and 2 pollack from Rhoscolyn for 5.06 kgs. John Smith was 3rd with 4.76, Mitch 4th with 4.44, 5th was myself with3.95, and 6th Kev with 3.72. Janet took the ladies` prize with a shanny and a corkwing for 0.08, and thanks to a few species points kev and myself were top team with 69 points.
Here`s a few of my minis, I think Kev`s got a pic of J.J`s best wrasse,
